With its 15 thousand students from 68 nations and more than 1000 highly qualified faculty from 35 nations, EMU embodies, in the true sense of the word, a cultural mosaic.  EMU stretches over 2200 acres of land and is an unprecedented campus university  with its out-door and in-door sports facilities, and diverse sport activities. EMU completed the EUA Institutional Evaluation Program along with 12 other universities in Turkey and is a full member of the EUA.  Furthermore, EMU enjoys the benefits of being a full member of the Mediterranean Universities Union and Federation of the Universities of the Islamic World.   EMU has also obtained substantial equivalency from ABET “Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology” which evaluates engineering and technology programs in the United States of America.

While the on-campus dormitories provide comfortable and quality housing facilities to more than 5 thousand students, the EMU Library collection includes 110.000 books and more than 820 periodicals; the campus atmosphere makes it possible for students to receive high quality education.  The Alumni Office assists students in finding the correct career paths as well as internships. Each and every student at EMU has access to computer facilities on campus. EMU TV, Radio EMU and Gundem Newspaper give students the opportunity to put into practice all the theory they learn in classes.

All programs offered at EMU are accredited by YOK (Council of Higher Education of Turkey). Currently the universities offers 8 associate degree, 50 undergraduate, 26 masters and 14 doctoral programs in  7 Faculties and 3 Schools.   EMU is the university that meets all the expectations of its students in a comfortable, peaceful, clean and secure environment.
